The use of metal detectors for the detection of potential contaminants of the product being processed is a common expedient in the phases of transport and processing of food. Our R&D department has studied, in collaboration with prestigious companies in the sector, the 1198 MDT polyurethane hose which, thanks to the use of specific additives, is able to be detected by the control machines.
